October 22 - Nick Gets Out Of Jail! And Brooke Blogs!

Nick got out of jail TODAY (October 21st). I am so happy for the Hogan family, it must’ve been horrible having Nick be in jail for so long. Brooke posted a blog last night (October 20th) about everything:

Hey you guys…as you all know, my brothers gettin out tomorrow…I cant even tell you, as a sister, how exciting this is for me! Nick and I are like best friends…and i cant believe how long Ive gone without him…. Not seeing him for 6 months has been really really hard. He always knows how to make me feel better or make me smile when I need it, and its been tough without having him there to hug me just at the right time, or crack a joke when im havin a bad day.

There have been a lot of supporters and a lot of haters that have come up to me and said things that have helped and things that made me feel like I couldn’t make it through another day… Some people wish terrible terrible things on us and say the the most nasty comments that I can’t even repeat on here… It really hurts. I understand people have their own opinion, but most of the people that come up to us don’t know the whole story, or how much we really really love John. Its really sad, because were not bad people….were just going through a really hard time, and so is John’s family. I feel sorry for the people who are misinformed because all they have to go off of is the media, which lets just face it, is NEVER a reliable source. Even the news, when that should be the most accurate…its probably the most far off. I didn’t come on here to vent, and I know this still wont change peoples opinion or what they think about my family. But I know that you never really know, until you actually walk in someones shoes. And that goes in all directions. All I ask, is instead of making this harder, and putting evil things out there, you pray for John and for us, and leave words of inspiration. I know- like I know -like I know- John is gonna walk out of that hospital and things will be ok again. I know his strength and I know he can do it with our prayers…… To all the people who have been supportive- It has helped MORE than you will ever know. I can not thank you enough…..Please pray for my brothers safety too… this is a really tough time he has gone through and I know all he wants to do is show you, John and his family how much he cares and understands.

ok. Back to the happy stuff! …….I just can’t wait to see my Nicky! Im gonna make him every kind of food you can possibly think of! Hes been living on bread an potatoes so far and I know some mac’n'cheese is gonna hit the spot! LOL Thanks so much for listening and keep praying! Every day will be better and better and better. Six months after going to jail following his no-contest plea on a reckless driving charge, Nick Bollea (a.k.a. Nick Hogan), son of Hulk Hogan, was released from jail early Tuesday morning (October 21). According to the Tampa Tribune, the 18-year-old Bollea raced into the arms of his sister, Brooke Hogan, upon his release from Pinellas County Jail, where he served 166 days of an eight-month sentence in connection with an August 2007 street racing crash that severely injured Bollea’s friend, John Graziano.

Bollea, who was released early for good behavior, walked out of Pinellas County Jail at 12:30 a.m. and did not speak to photographers before getting into a sport utility vehicle and heading home. His mother, Linda Bollea, released a statement Tuesday morning asking the media to respect the family’s privacy.

“This is our time as a family to come together to support Nick’s adjustment back into the public life, keeping it as normal as possible,” she said. “Neither Nick, nor we as a family, has any interest in making this anything but private. We respect the media’s role and only ask that they respect our privacy. Nick went into prison as a juvenile and has experienced something that will mold and affect him for the rest of his adult life. His focus is to make a positive difference in this world, media-free. Since his future actions will speak louder than any words, there is no need to speak to the media at this time.”

Bollea landed in jail after an August 2007 incident in which he lost control of his father’s Toyota Supra while street racing in Clearwater, Florida, resulting in severe injuries to Graziano. Former Marine Graziano, who police said was not wearing a seatbelt, remains hospitalized and will need medical care for the rest of his life, according to the Tribune. Graziano’s guardian sued the Bolleas in March for alleged negligence leading to the crash, and recent mediation attempts in the case have reportedly failed.

Bollea, a veteran of his father’s “Hogan Knows Best” show on VH1, had said in jail that he wanted to star in his own reality show after release, an idea Graziano’s lawyer, George Tragos, felt was exploitative.

“It’s awful Nick is going to get a reality show because he went to jail because of the permanent harm he caused another human being,” Tragos said, according to the Tribune.

If it weren’t for Hulk Hogan’s mullet, orange skin and matching bandana, you’d swear this was Hugh Hefner and his bottle blonde girls next door.

Hulk was snapped in Miami with his 20-year-old daughter Brooke, while holding his creepy Brooke-alike girlfriend Jennifer McDaniel — or was it the other way around?!

Just like Hef’s harem, they’re one big happy family.

September 9 - Brooke Talks About Parents Divorce and Nick’s Jail Sentence

They call it the reality show curse. The theory is that any family or relationship that signs on for a reality show will fall apart. Unfortunately the Hogan’s suffered the same fate when they signed on to do “Hogan Knows Best.”

Hollyscoop caught up with Brooke Hogan Sunday at the MTV VMA’s where she dished on her family drama and her brother Nick Hogan’s jail stint.

Brooke’s family has been getting a lot of heat from the media about recent family troubles. “Bring the heat. Who cares?”, said Brooke. “Everybody in America goes through hardships and divorce and all kinds of stuff. We’re actually on the lucky side, just because we’re under the microscope it seems a lot bigger, but we have to keep things in perspective.

She added, “The main thing is that we’re all alive, we’re all healthy. Situations are just situations. Once you’re on your death bed, you look back and you’re like, ‘you know it didn’t really matter’ the thing that matters most is the people that are around and the people who matter.”

What is Nick looking forward to the most when he gets out? “Eating my cooking, cause I cook awesome! I told him I’m going to make you everything you could ever dream of!”

So how is Nick passing the time in jail? “He does a lot of push ups and a lot of pull ups. He’s working out, he’s trying to make some friends,” said Brooke. “It’s been tough on him, he was 17 years old when he went in there. He just turned 18. I know when I was 17 I didn’t know what was going on.”

It’s easy to forget that celebrity families are just like the rest of us. No one wants their faults or troubles under a microscope, but Brooke seems like she’s cooping quite well considering the circumstances. Check out our exclusive video with Brooke at the VMA’s below…

September 9 - Brooke Talks About Hulk’s New Girlfriend

Even though Hulk Hogan confessed to an extramarital affair earlier this year, his daughter Brooke Hogan claims the former pro-wrestler has never been one to sleep around.

“My dad is really into his new girlfriend Jennifer — she is awesome,” Brooke told Pop Tarts. “Things are pretty serious between them — my father isn’t the type to jump around from girl to girl. He’s always been a very monogamous creature.”

The 20-year-old reality starlet is soaking up the success of her hit spin-off show “Brooke Knows Best,” which made VH1 history with its high ratings (averaging around 1.5 million viewers per episode, according to Nielsen Media Research).

Sources close to the Hogan family told Pop Tarts that Brooke and Hulk are now closer than ever, but the beachside blonde is still struggling to forgive her mother, Linda, for the family falling apart.

“I just have to constantly surround myself with friends — you don’t need drugs to get through the hard times when you have people that make you laugh,” Brooke added. “They make light of all my bad situations. When my parents divorced, my friends were all like ‘hey, at least you can move out now.’”
